Cold Shoulder At Victoria Gardens

I'm back from Cali but I did a few more outfit shoots over there that I am still going to post up on here before I get back into my regular routine.  My trip went by so fast and I am really sad but I know that I will be back there really soon. I wore this to go shopping at Victoria Gardens, this super cute shopping center located in Rancho Cucamonga. I think I went over there 3 times during my stay, absolutely loved it! Since I was away, I tried to get good shots of both my outfits AND the lovely scenery.

Top: Forever21/ Jeans: H&M/ Shoes: JLO (gifted)/ Sunnies: Target

I've worn this top before once in the summer time, but since I've always had a slight obsession with shoulder cut outs I wanted to bring it with me to LA.  I love the contrast of denim and black.  I finally found the perfect pair of skinny black jeans at H&M.  My other pants picked up lint too quickly so the material on these are way better plus they were only $19.99.  I'm wearing my heels but I ended up changing into flats later on during the day :)
I went to the Sephora over there and stocked up on some amazing skincare product samples.  I am going to step up my skin care game this year!

One of my instagram followers works at Victoria Gardens and she actually spotted me while I was there.  So crazy being recognized in Cali! The beauty of blogging is that it connects with you people everywhere!

Please keep voting for me HERE! Just found out this second round ends on Feb 5 so we have a long way to go.

Passing Through Pasadena

Yesterday was my first time in Pasadena and I really loved the area.  There's so many places to shop and eat.  We found a cute little alley to take some pics so of course I couldn't resist!  Brick walls always make a great backdrop.

Shirt: C/O ShopExcessBaggage/ Pants: Zara/ Sneaker Wedges: PoshMark/ Bag: C/O Oasap/ Beanie: H&M
Sunnies: Target/ Bracelets: C/O TheWayWeAre & YourJewelryCloset

I got this aztec print shirt from ShopExcessBaggage after I did the lookbook shoot for them on Friday.  It was so sweet of them to give us gift bags! I absolutely love how comfortable this top is and I am so happy that I was able to wear it out here in Cali.  I feel like the print and whole outfit is super laid back and casual which is what I wanted.  It was actually in the low 80s and as I mentioned I packed so many sweaters thinking it would have been colder, so this shirt definitely came in handy! I bought these legging style pants out here at the Zara at the grove.  Definitely a great buy. They're high waisted and the fit is amazing.  I'm really obsessed with these sneaker wedges because they are literally the best shoes to walk around in.  When you're out for a day of shopping you definitely want comfort! I added the beanie to complete the whole relaxed look.

One of the best parts about yesterday was meeting Ashley and Blake from AnythingAndEverythingLa.  We've been following each other for awhile via instagram and our blogs so it was so nice to see them in person. They're the sweetest! I will be posting my pics with them in my LA Diary post coming soon!

My friend Christine has been taking most of my pics during my stay here and she actually let me take one of her so I wanted to post it :)

I heard that I might be going home to snow and it makes me sad since the weather here has been absolute perfection!  I'll have more to share soon!

All Of The Lights

Took these pics at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum Of Art) before going to dinner at my favorite sushi spot in LA, Katsuya.  I remember seeing this in the movie No Strings Attached and always wanted to come and check it out for myself.  Because of the lighting, it was actually a little more difficult to shoot here than I expected but I just love all the light fixtures.  It makes a really cool background.

Dress: C/O FurorModa/ Shoes: Forever21/ Clutch: Asos

Furor Moda sent me some great goodies for my trip, including this olive printed body con dress.  I really like the design and details, plus, it fit like a glove!  I was so excited when I found these gold cap toe heels at Forever21, but to be completely honest they are NOT comfortable.  After dinner we went to this lounge in Hollywood and I literally felt like all my toes were breaking lol. But like they say, pain is beauty right? I really like how they look with this dress though because they really pop.

I am trying to do as many outfit posts as possible while I am here.  So many people said it was going to be freezing so I packed a bunch of sweaters but the weather has been absolutely GORG in the 70s and even low 80s! Just my luck lol. On Friday I shot a lookbook with Shop Excess Baggage so I cannot wait to show you all the pics when I get them!! Just a couple of more days left on this trip, so I will share as much as I can.

Voting ends on Tuesday! And if I win, the next round begins! Keep VOTING

California Love

I spent part of yesterday afternoon in West Hollywood.  The first 2 times I visited LA, I stayed right on Sunset Boulevard. I really love it over there and actually know that area pretty well now.  My friend that I am staying with in Rancho Cucamongo took these pics.  She did such a great job!

Maxi Skirt: C/O FurorModa/ Tank, Jacket & Bag: H&M/ Booties: Steve Madden
Earrings & Bracelets: Forever21/ Sunnies: Target

I mentioned in a previous post how much I love maxi skirts paired with leather jackets.  I knew when Furor Moda sent me this beautiful magenta one that I had to bring it to LA with me.  I feel like it's so perfect for Cali, especially with the beautiful 70 degree weather that we have been having the past few days.  Everyone has been saying that I brought the warmth with me!

We were doing a little exploring on some of the streets near Sunset and came across this amazing little complex with a pond and beautiful gate door.  I felt like I was trespassing but it looked too beautiful to pass up a photo opp! I seriously can't say it enough: the scenery here is amazing!  I wish I could take my pics here every single day.

I've been having such a great trip so far and I have a really fun and exciting day planned that involves blogger stuff!  I'll be sharing that with you all soon. This trip is so different from the other ones.  I feel like I have a real purpose being here this time and not just to party lol

I hope that you all had a fantastic week.  I'll be back with another post soon!

High Low From The Grove

Hello from LA!  Words can't even describe the happiness I feel every time I come here.  It's my third trip to Cali and each time it gets better & better.  In my heart I know this is really where I want to be!
I spent the whole afternoon yesterday at The Grove, one of my favorite places, with my 2 of my friends and blogger twinnie Melanee.  It felt so good to take photos over there for my blog.  I am in love with the scenery!

Dress: Forever21/ Jacket & Bag: H&M/ Booties: Steve Madden/ Necklace: Vintage
Sunnies: Target/ iPhone Case: C/O The Looker

I feel like LA has such a laid back, edgy vibe and I really wanted to show that in my outfit.  I've been looking for a casual high low dress like this one so I was really happy when I found it a few days before my trip.  Everyone told me that LA has been so cold lately, but I knew it would be nothing compared to NJ/NY winter weather!

So far every time that I have come to LA I have seen celebrities.  It's so much easier to see them here than anywhere else.  The TV Show Extra was filming outside at the Grove with Mario Lopez and Jason Statham.  They asked us to be apart of their audience during the interview which was pretty cool so if you get a chance to watch it, you might just see me right up front!

MobileTogs sent me another looker case and this time I picked titanium.  I love being able to match my phone case with my outfits, especially ones that have a mirror and card holder :) Make sure to check out their cases and also check out the fashion app Snapette

I'm looking forward to the rest of my trip and will be posting more soon.  At the end of the trip I will do a LA Diary post and show more than just my outfits!
All photos taken by Melanee.  Thanks lovie <3
