Hi lovelies! I am finally feeling better after fighting off a cold all weekend. It felt so good to take pics today! The truth about this outfit is that yesterday I attempted to take pics, but the shoes, clutch and accessories that I originally planned on wearing did not translate on camera the way I had visioned. Has this ever happened to any of you? I am very happy with the way that it came out today though!
Prints are such a big trend and I don't see that fading away any time soon. I especially love printed bottoms because they make outfits stand out so much. This outfit is similar to the one I wore here and that was my inspiration behind today's look. I absolutely love pairing printed pants with blazers. I think it's such a chic and edgy combo. I decided to bring out the black in the print by going with all black on top, and then instead of going with the obvious black shoe, I opted for these simple nude heels.
I went with my simple black clutch again. I am waiting for 2 handbags to come in and I am so excited to use them in upcoming looks! I'm wearing gold accessories like usual and a pink lip.
The weather has been great temperature wise and even though I love to layer, I am still taking advantage of the days that I don't need to! How do you loves feel about printed bottoms? Do you love them as much as I do?

NATY: WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND GLOSSY CHICK?
LR: Glossy Chick is a Diva and Fashionista In Training going through many phases of her life - like many young girls. No matter what phase or feelings she is going through that day - she never sacrifices her inner diva and always stays true to who she is.
NATY: HOW WAS THE LINE CREATED AND WHO CAME UP WITH THE INITIAL CONCEPT?
LR: The concept was developed by GSEA Fashion Group throughout a 2 year period with brand director (aka Sassy Chick) leading the way. We were also very blessed to have received advice from some of the very best in the business. Industry friends such as Fashion Merchandising expert Joan Duncan, Syn Founders (Sue, Yalenis, Nicole), former Children's Designer Andrea Elias and owner of Duo Kids Showroom Robin Wilcher.
NATY: WHAT SETS GLOSSY CHICK APART FROM OTHER CHILDREN'S BRANDS OUT THERE AND WHY SHOULD CHILDREN WEAR IT?
LR: Glossy Chick is so much more than a character driven childrens brand. Glossy Chick represents a movement and powerful message. She is someone young girls her age can look up to. She always portrays a positive message to stay true to who you are while expressing your inner chick. Her pieces represent fashion forward bodies with pops of colors that little girls can feel like they're ready to rip the runway in!
NATY: WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A GLOSSY CHICK?
LR: Glossy has no definition. She's funny, sassy, classy, happy, excited, ambitious, curious and the list goes on and on. Hey loves! This is the perfect weather when it's not hot and it's not cold, just somewhere in between. I always dress according to my moods and how I'm feeling that particular day, so today I went with something edgy. I've been trying to get creative with my wardrobe and wear some older pieces in new ways. This is great to do when you don't have the time or the money to buy new pieces.

I think that white v-necks should be a staple piece in every girl's closet! I'm obsessed with the boyfriend tee's from Target. They're great to wear with a blazer, a jacket like this one, or simply tucked into a pair of jeans. I decided to wear mine tucked into these black skinnies!
I layered on my favorite biker/moto jacket that I got last year from H&M. I love these style jackets and their edgy vibe! The next time I wear this one I want to pair it with a skirt to get that feminine/edgy mix that I love so much! I wasn't in the mood to wear regular heels, so I went with my wedge booties. These are super comfy!
For the perfect final touch I wore my Nasty Gal hat and went with a red lip, MAC Ruby Woo. I think that it tied the look together. I just have on simple silver accessories including this cross necklace and hanging cross earrings that unfortunately I forgot to take a close up of! Also using this shoulder bag that I studded last year. I haven't done a DIY project in awhile so maybe it's time to try something new.

It's a beautiful October afternoon! These past few days have been super hectic and I've been trying to fight off this cold for the longest time. I just wanted to go with something simple and casual for today's look so I kept it all neutral!
I have on a loose fitted crop top that I've had for awhile now. The best way to transition these tops into the Fall is by layering. You can do this with a jacket similar to this one, adding on a scarf, cardigan, etc. It's not that cold today, so I just went with this faux leather hooded jacket. It's one of my favorites and I really love the color especially for this season.
I paired these pieces with my dark denim skinny jeans and nude shoes. I definitely wanted something with a low heel today so these worked out the best. I love wearing booties and boots, but you can definitely still wear pumps in the colder weather!
Since the jacket added a little edgy touch, I wanted to throw in something feminine in the mix as well. So I decided to wear this lovely collar necklace courtesy of Pop Of Chic! I was invited as a VIP guest to the Style Network's Glam Fairy Season 2 Premiere Party at Teak in Hoboken, NJ. It was such a fabulous event and I am so grateful for the invite. I've been to a few events here and there, but this was the biggest and the best so far. PLUS, it was for the Style Network. I watch it all time! There was a red carpet and they actually used my photo on Bergen.Com which was really exciting for me since this was my first real red carpet event :)
Cast members from both Glam Fairy and Jerseylicious were in attendance as well as some other reality TV show stars. They had a viewing of the first episode for season 2, as well as a live performance from Reina, giveaways from Glamorous Cosmetics, complimentary food and drinks for VIP guests, and amazing little cupcakes. I met so many people and I literally gave them all my card! Even the cast members. I'm going to share a bunch of photos from the event and start off with my outfit photos!
